The visuals actually look pretty interesting, but lol that tagline mixed in with the cliche Kennedy space race speech is pure cringe! You need a bigger actor anchoring a film like this or at least a solid ensemble. Halle Berry and Patrick Wilson saving the world is about as exciting to me as folding my laundry. The moon attacking us is maybe even more ridiculous than a film like Maximum Overdrive or The Happening. |

The visuals actually look really cool. Tagline is cheesy as hell but I think people are in the mood for escapism. I could see this doing well. |

It does look reasonably good - though cant see it doing more than $30-40m total |

Emmerich is one of the kings of eye candy. Looking at his track record, there's nothing over the last 20 years which suggests this will do well at the boxoffice. |

It'll barely cross $20m domestically. Overseas is even worse. $55m WW at best unless it does huge numbers in China. |
