Presales start in an hour. It's literally only getting 2 Imax showings sharing with Spider-Man and no Dolby in my area. Yeah they should've moved this unless it's really shitty. |

I actually find the young Agent Smith thing kind of desperate (Weaving didn't shoot anything so that's definitely gonna cause some backlash) Goodish trailer. I think went from a 3 to a 6 at least to seeing it in theaters. Glad Keanu shaved and cut his hair. That for some reason was throwing this off a lot for me. I'm still not completely sold but after Spider-Man this is the film to see for me. I mean, Reloaded and Revolutions were horrible so even something like Terminator Genysis or Dark Fate is fine for me. |

The new trailer is an improvement, but still not great. It still looks like a remake of the first Matrix but with maybe more CGI action scenes, that might be good, but worse plot. |

Quite good. Definitely hitting double digits OD. Release so far look small for a big movie. It should grow as we get close to release. For now PS is ahead of what I saw for Dune previews. but this is OD. |

Marketing has really ramped up. Pretty clear this would have been a $100m+ opener in regular times. |

Yeah with proper premium screen rollout and no Max this would've had a humungous opening. Very interested in how it'll do. Think it's 3-day will be lower than Dune but OD will probably be solid. |

Thinking 5 day between 45-60m based on how the spidey tsunami impacts demand. OD PS looks promising and so it should be > 10m. I am hoping for low to mid teens so that 5 day can hit 60m. |

I have no idea on this one now. Will it be hit by restrictions? Capacity limits? Spillover from Spidy? A rush of people trying to see it before another lockdown? Impact of at home viewing? I wouldn't be shocked by either an OW under $40M or one over $80M. |

Hopefully enough people would rather see it on the big screen but it will definitely be hurt by being on HBO Max. And everything will be hurt by Spider-Man. |

Its international run is going to be a fraction of what it could've been for sure, since most of Europe is going back into lockdown. In the US it will affect the grosses in the coasts, maybe not so much in flyover states. Could see anywhere from mid 30s to 80s. Poor Warner Bros. This was one of their juiciest tentpoles in a while. In a world without COVID would've opened to 100m+ easy. |
