EARLY REVIEWS ARE ALWAYS POSITIVE. Until RT/MC reviews come out, take it with a grain of salt. |

A lot of the reactions used "loved" so I'm more prone to believe that this will be well received. Without HBO Max I think it could do $50m+ but I think it'll do like 40m now. |

WB tends to show their screenings to only die hard fans and then allows them to post reviews that inflates those initial reactions |

I'm really not sure about how this will do. Right now I'm feeling barely above Birds of Prey will happen, 35m opening. Idk when review embargo will lift but hopefully some buzz gets this over 40m opening. |

I think this is another one of those risky movies similar to Snake eyes albeit this has better production values and appeal. I don't see this opening more than $25m though. |

I think the fact that the first was released 5 years ago and was a big hit but generally disliked is going to really hurt this one even if it’s good. It’s in a similar position to MCU Hulk (vs Ang Lee version) though in this case it doesn’t have Iron Man good will and it can’t match the originals gross. |

no one cares for this outside hardcore fans. I could see it doing a high 40s OW but crash majorly and barely get to 100m total. |

Though with Gunn I am sure it will be fun the biggest question is if it will justify its existence and WB's handling on final product given that Gunn was vulnerable during the shoot so he probably didn't have his regular director clout. |
