Luca seems like a lower tier Pixar film but still really good from the reviews.

I don't get it. How does it seem low-tier Pixar output?

All the reviews say it’s not among the studios best and the average rating was like 7.1/10 when I last checked, as opposed to most Pixar classics having over 8/10 avg. rating.

Alright. So you are basing that on RT's average rating, I somehow thought you meant how it looks and feels from trailers and marketing

THWB looks like it will hit #1 this weekend. Still, it will finish with no more than 40% of its predecessor's total. Even with the pandemic, that's still not a good total especially when it cost $50M before advertising costs.

The reported budget mentions LG's number separately at $25m-$30m so they could have gotten a lot of tax returns, sales in OS and other stuffs to earn back the production budget of $70m. Anyways going by exact $70m it needs $175m WW total and around $135-$140m OS to breakeven.
