Cruella - $3.283M I'm predicting an $11.5M weekend. It has a chance of making it to $100M if it can hold well the next couple of weekends. |

Conjuring 3 - $9.84M While way below its predecessors, considering its on HBOMax, that's still a solid number. I'd say it should be $25-27M weekend. Hopefully, In The Heights will crush that number. A Quiet Place 2 - $6.2M It should reach $20M for its second weekend for a $130-150M total. While below its predecessor, at least it'll be more profitable and it will surpass $100M before GvK. Spirit Untamed - $2.4M It will reach $7M this weekend. Peter Rabbit 2 will hurt it and will merely finish with $20-25M total. That's bad compared to its predecessor. |

Very impressive for The Conjuring, sounds like it had very strong walk-up business. Good sign. |

Superb for Conjuring and the two holdovers didn't just vanish away. |

Damn that's terrific for The Conjuring. I expected a weekend of 18-22 Million. |

Great for Conjuring. Spirit 2 always seemed such a random thing to come back to. I barely remember the first even existing and I imagine most others are the same. |

Spirit 2 feels like the type of film that is made due to a contractual requirement. Though the NF show comment makes sense. Wait 19 years for a sequel to a film that made $73M? Bee Movie, Over The Hedge seem like better random sequels they could have made? |

Will admit, I'm liking some of these random sequels, reboot, prequels. Cobra Kai - 34 years If they did a new Karate Kid movie based on the show's popularity would not be shocked to see it become the top film of the franchise. Top Gun - 35 years. Mary Poppins - 54 years Mad Max - 29 years Blade Runner - 35 years Tron - 28 years Dumb and Dumber - 20 years Rambo - 19 years Incredibles - 14 years Avatar - 13 years + Only films from the top 100 worldwide that don't have a sequel or re-imaging coming or released already outside of Pixar or Nolan movies (which can act like sequels to each other) are Titanic, Zootopia, Bohemian Rhapsody and ET. A Zootopia TV show was announced so don't think a movie is too far away. ET Comes Home would be interesting though. Drew has stayed relevant so definitely think people would still show up. |

The original Spirit is one of my favorite animated films. Definitely underrated. But I have no interest in the Netflix show or this movie. The animation and quality seems to be a huge step down. |

I would also argue Bohemian Rhapsody has IP/franchise vibes. |

WB not doing Thursday previews is dumb. Hopefully they do them for The Suicide Squad. |

Indeed I don't see the reason behind it. TC3 would have done really well in previews which would have bulked up its weekend numbers. |
