| Its not but I just want you to think that there is a lot you are putting on Nolan. Most of us here do not like the idea of WB doing this but things are as they are and there is a possibility that WB is suffering financially which none of us think about. They haven't have HUGE hits like Disney recently and having more duds vs hits just does not cut it anymore. Also as redfirebird2008 mentioned that COVID might just be speeding up the eventual un-popularity of theaters (even though I feel it never can be entirely killed). |

The mistake you’re both making is thinking that WB has the final say in this matter. AT&T does not give a fuck about movie theaters. They’re in a position where Warner Brothers make movies for HBO that are watched using AT&T Uverse internet. They own the production, the distribution and the technology required to make it all happen. Why would they give that up just to keep AMC from going bankrupt? |

Agreed MCU and Avatar are the biggest things. I am betting Avatar will be the movie that will benefit the most like DS is enjoying post-COVID run in Japan. |

I lost count) Joker in 5 years from a recovering brand (DCEU) is definitely the movie than the long running MCU franchise (that is currently the second biggest domestic and biggest WW movie) or the sequel to a worldwide phenomenon made by a visionary director that made grandma's enjoy theatrical experience. |
