Thank you. I hope we will have the full update of Russia and these Central Asian countries soon in this thread. The fan base of KNY in Russia is not small, they did cosplay events back in 2019. However, I am surprised that Central Asia has a market for an anime movie. |

Russia's numbers could have been higher if F9 didn't open as well this weekend. Them considered Asian market meant they got F9 at same time as Korea Middle East and China. |

According to that source DS has 52 022 entries at wednesday in France, and there was a total of 283 409 entries during that opening day. Remember there's a 30-35% capacity restriction and it looks like a "normal day" in France so it's quite good ! Still few sources talking about 58 500 entries so we'll see with a first box-office week actuals. |

On Monday, we will know if the movie is able to reach the global milestone of $500 million or not. However, after this weekend, Mugen Train definitely becomes the 2nd highest grossing anime movie in the U.S. Additionally, Rengoku will officially become the 40-billion man in Japan. It is hard to believe that an anime can have a massive success like this with late releases in foreign markets, high-quality full movie leaks, and limited theaters' capacities. |

It won't reach $500m this weekend or the next. Even with big admission numbers the movie is still playing in limited capacity so it will need a week or two to get there. |
