Thatis pretty good for it, especially considering everything. I wonder how it will open here.

There's also help coming from a weakening US-Dollar...

It saw some gains in early/mid-August, but has since dropped off again. And while it doesn't matter for Tenet until it opens in Japan in 3-weeks, the USD dropped 1.1% versus the JPY just this past week alone. Good start for Tenet.

Most of these markets have opened theaters for a week or two so not sure how they were doing before. This is a good number but we don't know the potential of movies in these circumstances. It's definitely a good sign for movies to open in OS markets to make some money.

 Re: Tenet (INTL)
That is a potentially outstanding number. Those territories alone could translates to $200m+. Factor in US and Asia & this could be over $500m global. Would be pretty crazy if it actually broke even.

Canada wasn't specifically listed but take our EU/APAC and it looks it did $13 M elsewhere.
WB is probably holding on that number and will report it with the domestic next weekend.

 Re: Tenet (INTL)
China PS has started well. Looking at $50m OW there. Plus it has 3 months of run(compared to normal 30 days). Of course the show count is more important for long run. But China > US is highly probable at this point.

 Re: Tenet (INTL)
$50m OW will be great. I agree if it opens that big and has a longer window Tenet would definitely do more in China than US.

 Re: Tenet (INTL)
It will need some serious legs in the US if it is going to top $400 million.

 Re: Tenet (INTL)
That's another great OS weekend for Tenet. I agree though $400m looks difficult unless it gets some serious legs in US, China or Japan.
