Wonder if Invisible Man is set up to breakout or if the over saturration of horror this year will affect it.

Sonic may get 3 weeks at #1. Wow.

I think Invisible breaks out. Kind of a “finally a horror hit” scenario.

People have been waiting for a good horror movie after so much crap. The Invisible Man is opening above 30.

Invisible man is showing no signs of breakout so far. PS is abysmal and theaters have not listed it like a breakout as well. That said things could change close to release.

Next week releases also look dire. I guess Sonic/Bad Boys and even Birds of Prey will have good holds. Sonic will also gross 200m+.

I don't see why Call of the Wild can't match a Dog's Purpose. Though honestly they should have sent it straight to Disney Plus.

Likely great reviews should help Invisible Man. Plus it looks pretty awesome.

Yeah I am hoping horror movies go back to do great again.

Invisible Man seems like a husband/boyfriend/etc. from hell type thriller from back in the day, he's just invisible. Not sure that's the type of horror that's popular anymore.

Call of the Wild - 18m
Brahms - Boys II - 5m

Call of the Wild has decent reviews, Ford should help with older audience and OD PS is promising. Previews wont hit 1m but it should have backloaded OW.

Brahms has no reviews so far and PS is lowest I have seen. Previews is looking like sub 0.3m !!!

Edit: Brahms did slightly better with walk ups. So around 0.4m previews. 5-6m OW. Call of the Wild is looking at 0.9m previews and mid to high teens.

The dump of all these horror films is strange. 2 of these could have opened last October and probably could've done a little better than all these sub-20m grosses.

Agreed. Last October was so barren a few of them could have opened close to their totals.
