Sparrow talking ridiculous stuff. its PS were similar to TLJ and we have expansion in Imax/PLF/4D etc. That said OW wont match TLJ. But 200m will happen. |

Yeah ridiculous!! IMAX and PLF have increased 10 times in 2 years for sure. Also how about someone at BOT posting high-30's which Keyser keeps bringing every other weekend to call others shit??? |

I started tracking 2 MTC from Joker onwards. So its hard to estimate a movie at this level of PS. No other movie I tracked from Joker onwards were on this ballpark. That said its PS increase this week was way less than what I had thought late last week. Still numbers are huge. Most important its strong for OD/Saturday and when I checked last weekend, PS is quite good all the way till christmas. So its not Justice League or anything to crash after previews. That said with its mixed reaction, it wont sustain beyond the holidays. |

Thanks for the insight but aren't pre-sales accounting for 5-10% of the daily sales? Given the HEAVY fanbase this movie attracts and in general being pre-sale heavy (it has been thus far) won't it make sense that the fans book their tickets upfront. With reviews being lukewarm its might loose casual audiences (I am assuming a lot of families) and few repeat viewings that would have been otherwise easier with a better rush factor. |

Yeah if those numbers stick its definitely doing $200M over the weekend, but it does seem hard to believe that it goes anywhere near $50M unless the walk-ups ended up being really strong. |

TFA had a preview to OW multiplier of under 4.4, TLJ had closer to 5. Part of the difference may be anticipation, but it’s also the date. Closer to Xmas deflates the weekend, but affects previews less. I’m expecting under 4.5 previews. |
