Thor having a mid life crisis. Will do well with millennials. Given how empty the summer market is may even clean up enough for $500M. |

She's using Thor's old hammer (it's cracked/repaired), and they didn't use some alternate Jane Foster when she became Thor in the comics. |

Ragnarok has quickly become one of the most beloved of Marvel movies (I got a lot of flack from IRL friends when I put it low in my MCU rankings on Facebook), so this will probably be massive, especially with the Guardians being featured prominently and the return of Natalie Portman. The battle between this, Strange 2, and Jurassic World for the summer crown should be interesting. |

I'm going to give this one the slight edge over Doctor Strange 2. Might just be because people have been waiting and anticipating the trailer for quite some time, but buzz has exploded today (really interested to know the trailer views after 24 hours). Both will likely gross over $400 million, maybe even $500 million (Marvel sort of is the NA box-office now). |

Should be big. Good thing is that the teaser only shows what may be the first 30-40 mins of the film. I don't love Ragnarok but it seems I'm in the minority. My eldest son loves it. I suspect $420-$470m total but beaten by Dr Strange (due to the multiverse angle + being released 1st). |

I like Ragnarok but it's not my favorite because too many of what could be solid dramatic notes get interrupted by too much humor. Hopefully this can find a happy medium between Ragnarok and the serious but tedious Dark World |

I need to rewatch it but I do think Ragnarok is overrated. Hope I like this one more. That said, have seen a lot of people posting about this teaser. Excitement is there |

I think this will be Hemsworth's last and they are waiting to reveal it in the movie (he's talked like it's not but after Garfield's act you can't really trust that). Possibly would increase interest/WOM. |

Nah, he;s only 38, and Thor might be the most experimental of the marvel films. He's at least going for 5. He has a logan or a big Avengers death in his bag, it'll have to wait after this one goes, but I think we have at least 2 more from here. |

Still feel when Black Panther 2 hits, it's going to challenge Spidy's 355M. The teaser for the original did 89M in 2017 and feel Marvel and BP has only gotten more iconic. |

I love the look of the film and the characters. Just don't like the excessive humour nor the cringe narration early on. |

Ticket sales lack the craziness we saw with DS2 and no comparison to NWH at all. This would be way smaller than those movies from rush perspective. |
