I think they should not reveal any more. There are enough hooks for the audience. Just play few tv spots and show few action scenes at most. Keep the plot under wraps. That would be a welcome change from trailer revealing it all.

Reeves already confirmed this is set around early days of Batman but no origin.

They should move this to February 11 tbh. Get a holiday weekend in its 2nd weekend and be farther away from Doctor Strange.

Ok it does look good. And Zoey kind of ended Anne Hathaway. I liked Anne in the role, but Zoey is dripping with sexuality in that trailer in a way Anne could never. Zoey seems to be a worthy successor to Michelle Pfeiffer.

I thought it was Emilia Clarke at first and was worried for this movie

This should do well, but don't see it doing more than the 166m of BvS. Should hopefully hold better though

it would be absolute shocker if Matt Reeve's batman has the legs of Zack Synder's universally panned BvS. This should easily hold better. I am expecting lower OW for sure as its the 1st movie. But trailers are good and batman is not in a bad shape unlike during begin's release.

what is that right now? Beauty and the Beast? I don't see why this does that well. It's another reboot of Batman, we've had 15 of those at this point.

March 2022 will probably be very much like November 2021 in terms of the pandemic's effect on moviegoing. This quasi recovery is probably the new status quo for many more months yet. Anyway, regarding the movie - I think the trailer is effective and will draw in the usual superhero crowd. Expect a $90M+ OW with steep drops in subsequent weekends because that's the new boxoffice reality.

This is without question opening to much more than VENOM and if it is any good will have much better legs.

I think they're going to bump the theatrical window back to the original amount

Had there ever been a trailer in the last decade from DC and/or Batman movie that you didn't say the same?

Not sure why they released this trailer now...? Looks great but we're more than 2 months away, this should've came out with tickets.

Good trailer. Very action heavy mixing tension with good action, pretty much what we expect from Batman movies now. I'm confident with Reeves directing that this will be great and critics will love this. I'm still not sure this will be huge.

This is going to utterly explode given the dead market place it will open. Some part of the film has trending on twitter at all times for over a week now...

1.5B is not possible. But it could do 1B WW if China gets on board as I expect it should.

Sad that Magpipes is gone and this club looks unlikely but the casting of Battinson was clearly a stroke of brilliance.
