Great for MIL and Unleashed. Better than I thought for K&S.
Really bad for KOH.

Great for all the openers. Monster-in-Law should get around $22-24m for the weekend, Kicking and Screaming should get $22-23m, Unleashed should get around $10-11m for the weekend (that's awesome), and Mindhunters should get $2-2.4m.

Wow, Mav is going to have a filed day with this. If this has a 2.7-3 multiplier, it will gross between 22-24 mill. MIL is going to be JLO's biggest opening in quite a whil, if not ever....

No way KS gets that much of a multiplier.

Pretty bad drops all around, except for CRASH. MINDHUNTERS did terribly but that was to be expected. I just didn't think it would do this bad. MONSTER IN LAW did great, yay!! KICKING AND SCREAMING did just about what I thought and UNLEASHED did great!

Monster IN Law did well; pretty much dead on track for a $22-24m weekend.
However thats still not brilliant...its more or less the same as 13 GOING ON 30's debut and it was deemed a dissapointment; this certainly cost more and is in the same amount of theaters so i deem it dissapointing too.
Kicking and Screaming dissapoints...kind of
Crash held amazingly
Mindhunters superbombed

BTW...Crash had an unbelieveable d rop. This could get about 6.5-7 mill for the weekend.

KS will probably make $19.4m with an increase around 35% today.
Haha. HOW had a better drop than KOH.

Doesn't that factor come based on a movies final gross and not the opening weekend.

KOH might barely beat King Arthur.

Pacifier did 58% better on Saturday, and a 3.55x multiplier. Anyone think K&S can do a similar? if so, it'll be $22+

You guys just never listen when we say chick flicks will do well
Great for the top three openers. Monster could hit $23M, Kicking about $21M. Unleashed will net a solid $11M.
Awful drop for Kingdom of Heaven.
Crash might decline by only 20% this weekend! \:D/

The Pacifier and Daddy Day Care both recieved a 3.6x weekend multiplier. If Kicking and Screaming gets that, it's 22.7m. I don't see why it can't get that much.

Great opening for Monster-in-Law. Kicking & Screaming did alright. Bad drop for Kingdom of Heaven. House of Wax could have a drop under 50%. Good hold for Crash.

I think Mav needs 25 Million + to be right. Otherwise lots of people said 20 +.
******************************************************************************
From his MIL will do 25 Million.
but the over 25M is a certainty.

Yeah, I find it very unlikely that Monster-in-Law will achieve that multiplier to get over $25 million. It'll settle for a great $22 million, in my opinion. Almost perfect for my prediction.

I personally don't think that was a clear cut click flick.

If K&S behaves like a typical kid movie it could challenge MIL for no. 1. But again chick flicks have good multipliers too.

Monster-in-Law clearly has the Friday advantage, but I think they'll almost be tied of #1. Either can win at this point. But, chick flicks usually don't have great multipliers because Friday night is more of a date night. I think it'll get a 2.7-2.8x multiplier.

I agree. They could be both around $22M if K&S gets about a 3.6 multiplier.
