3001, written and directed by Mike Judge and starring Luke Wilson, is about an average guy sent into the future where he finds society has become much more stupid and he is the smartest man around.

How do you all see it doing at the box office? Opens July 19th. A 20th Century Fox movie.

IMDB page here: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/

The cast includes the always hilarious Stephen Root (office space, Dodgeball), and Maya Rudolph.

It actually opens August 5.

This movie might do really well because there's a lack of high-concept comedies this summer.

Competition from The Dukes of Hazzard might hurt, though.

That sounds really funny! I've never heard of it, so they need to get out a trailer pretty quick..

Never heard of it before - but this movie sounds great. I think it'll be a hit because Hollywood doesn't normally have trouble selling a movie with a premise as good as that. People love "what if?" movies.

It should do well if it's well-marketed. The premise sounds as if they were ripping off Futurama, though...

I think this will sleeper - probably finish with about $75m. I absolutely love Office Space - but that was a cult hit and this could be the same.
