I'm thrilled Sin City held up so well, though I do wish Fever Pitch had made a bit more. Oh, well.
Also, great PTA for Kung Fu Hustle. BOM has revised the April 22 estimate to 2000+, by the way.

Million Dollar Baby will break $100 million, even if the studio has to push it. It will make it.

Great for Sin City, and I think Million Dollar Baby is a no doubter for 100 million.

Thankfully Sahara's number will kill any talk about comparing it to National Treasure.
Will Sahara even gross as much as National Treasure did in it's 3rd week?

Nov 19–21 1 $35,142,554 - 1
Nov 26–28 1 $32,156,917 - $87,270,875 - 2

And now Kung-Fu Hustle's theater estimate for April 22 has been bumped to 2000+.

That Sat number reported earlier was really off. And why would The Pacifier drop 47% on Sunday?!

Because it dropped 47% last Sunday. It's the worst drop it can get, so I expect the actual number to be 3.2 or even 3.3.

Holy moses at Kung Fu Hussle's numbers. Lets just hope that on April 22, it wont pull a Kung Pow! hold on us but have at least a 9,000 per theater average when it expands to 1000 screens

I think with 2000+ theaters, it should have $6,000-7000 PTA. I expect it to be a little below Hero's opening weekend number due to the platform release. If it can maintain a $30,000 PTA next weekend, I can't see how it will gross less than 10M when expanding.

Dang 2000 theaters! Hopefully they will give it 2500 theaters so it can kill that snoozefest  known as the Interpretor (the music on that trailer made it sound sooooo overdramatic)

It would be fucking awesome if Kung Fu Hustle was #1 on the 22nd!
