Hi folks!

I have a quick box office query to ask of you... does anyone know of an up-to-date list of the top grossing actors of all time worldwide? Box Office Mojo has the top grossing in the US, but I can't see any worldwide list...

The most up to date list I can find is this one...

http://www.toptenz.net/top-10-most-successful-actors-at-the-box-office.php

But that keeps referencing films that are supposed to be coming out in 2010 that never did (Tom Cruise's Motorcade?).

Any help mucho appreciated!

Mark Ruffalo is pretty gross.

So basically it's Hanks (I wouldn't count SLJ).

Though they throw in an arbitrary criteria to cover themselves ("When creating this list, one of the criteria was that the actor played a leading role in a portion of their featured films.") in that link, they don't officially count the all-time BO champ Frank Welker because he's primarily a voice actor in animated films - - and yet they count the (significant) BO totals of the other actors' voice work in animated films towards their totals.

Although I'm too lazy to calculate it at the moment, I'd be interested in seeing a more consistent list that only includes live action performances.

I wonder who the true king is (if it's not the inimitable Frank Welker)?

You know what's even weirder? They don't appear to have counted Toy Story 2/3 towards Hanks, even though they have counted The Incredibles towards SLJ.
