Yes! I'm going to have a gooooood weekend. \:D/
Great for Guess Who. It'll make around $23M. Good for Miss Congeniality 2. That'll make around $15M. Both movies predicted right on target. The Ring Two held up really well compared to expectations. It'll make around $14M this weekend or more.

Yay, everything did nicely. MC2 could have done better, though.

Solid for Guess Who.
Although that's less than I was predicting for Miss Congeniality 2, it should still make a decent $14-15M. In fact, if it makes that much, it will be consistent for an opening of a Sandra Bullock movie (28 Days, Forces of Nature, Two Weeks Notice and the original Miss Congeniality all opened in a similar range as that).

Not good for MC2; I was expecting high 20s - the original has such a huge fanbase and ive yet to hear a girl who dosent want to see this; im hoping for some sort of miracle multiplier & great holdovers

You are correct. Movies pretty much never do on the Saturday of Easter weekend. They usually all drop. But Sunday they don't drop as hard and they at least have Monday to help make up for it.

I think they are decent numbers. Not anything to brag about but good weekend.
I wasn't expecting that much for Guess Who but it might continue the streak of $20m openers, we have had ALOT of them this year!
While MC2 will open just around what other Bullock movies opened to, it will have really bad legs.... it might barely do $45-50m

Guess Who is the new comedy starring Ashton Kutcher and Bernie Mac. It's a remake of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, but the role is reversed this time around.

Ah, dissapointing for Miss Congeniality 2. Hopefully it'll finish higher than Guess Who anyway.

Oh man, I am LOVING these numbers. In addition to completely rebounding and nailing both Guess Who and Miss Congeniality (I'll be within 1 million of each), The Ring Two held better then expected, and Hostage continues to display surprisingly strong legs.
With Miss Congeniality 2 guys, the problem was that even though the first one was really well loved, this looked extremely unnessecary, and I think a lot of people didn't get why it is that the character became someone else entirely. The ads were just extremely unfunny, but the original fanbase prevented it from having an entirely awful opening.

Exactly! I don't get why everyone is saying how great THE RING 2 held because it dropped nearly 65% and will have a weekend drop of over 60%. That isn't exactly good. I didn't even predict THAT high of a drop. I went with a little under 55% since it didn't open too huge (not as big as expected anyway).
