That's great for The Pacifier. Do you think it has a chance at $100 million?

Yeppp.
I always knew it would hit $100 million. The audience reactions were all I needed for that prediction.

Hitch has some serious legs here.

I think Hitch might see a decline of less than 20% this weekend. Spring Break is starting in most places, and it might receive a lot of spillover from The Ring Two.

Without question I'd say he is the most bankable. How many stars can have six movies in a row that they're in make 45+ million opening weekend?

Great hold for Hitch, really impressive week to week, i'm not really sure it desrves it though. I think i may be the only person that found it entirely predictable and not really very funny except for the closing credits, romantic comedy by numbers.
Nice to see M$B jump, still hoping it can crawl towards $100million, but will most ikely fall short, gah!

Miramax does not give daily numbers so BOM creates his own estimates. It appears BOM has stopped doing weekday estimates for The Aviator. Here's a note from BOMs daily chart about why some films disappear from his daily charts.
NOTE: If grosses stop for a movie, it means that the respective studio is no longer tracking it on a daily basis. The exceptions are IFC, New Line, Miramax, Artisan and Lions Gate. They don't do daily box office, so estimates are made for their movies based on partial data in order to fill out the top 12. So movies from these studios are more apt to disappear from the daily chart.

Maybe it shouldnt be made a fuss about, but after the snow storm and the theater drops setlled - Elektra held really quite well in its tinier release. I really feel for that movie; but after seeing Hide and Seek and AVP which made tonnes more than they deserve; its clear that box office dosent always indicate quality - more what critics want people to think of as quality.
Cant wait for the Elektra dvd.
