Congrats matatonio! Two incredible weeks back-to-back.
My 3rd worst performance ever ranking-wise. I'm still not as consistent as some of the great players are and where I like to be.

Wow, great job matatonio.
I've moved up to 15 for the month.
I don't know how I'm 18th for the year though with those three horrible weeks.

Well, gee, maybe it's because only one of those weeks was actually "horrible"?

1/30/2005 74.68%
1/23/2005 74.87%
1/17/2005 65.58%
The other two were not the worst, but they really hurt. So, one absolutely horrible and two very bad?

You have to look at your ranking for the week, not your score, to really determine how well you did. A ranking of 69th is decent, and 29th is quite good. Any week where your rank is a double (or single, obviously) digit number is never "very bad." At the same time, when I, for example, scored 86.413% but ranked 252nd for the week (10/3/2004) it was not a good week for me.

Yikes
I still haven't gotten a ranking below thirty this year.
Congrats to Matanio as well, but look at the impresive performance of MG Casey. I have start getting better scores than him if I want that second place.

Here's my Best Predicted Movies of 2005:
1. Hotel Rwanda - 100.00% (1)
2. House of Flying Daggers - 95.65% (1)
3. Assault on Precinct 13 - 93.85% (2)
4. Million Dollar Baby - 93.53% (3)
5. Pooh's Heffalump Movie - 92.70% (2)
6. Sideways - 90.83% (4)
7. Are We There Yet? - 88.60% (5)
8. Racing Stripes - 88.49% (4)
9. Hide and Seek - 87.31% (3)
This weekend's derby game was crap for me! #117, most "average" derby players ranked higher than normal.

I suppose, although more then anything I grade myself based on whether I predicted as well as I potentially could have. The week of 1/30/2005 might not have produced such a poor ranking for me, but I could and should have done much better. I quickly made those predictions before the deadline, and only after that did I do more math related to predicting the numbers. The result was that the predictions I came up with an hour later turned out to be quite a bit more accurate. So, that was an example of wasted potential regardless of where I ranked. In fact, I would say it was, in a way a worse week then 1/17/2005. That other week I had every opener go in the wrong direction, which will happen sometimes.

164 this week with 84.2%. I would have been in the top 10 had I gone with my BO duels predictions. I predicted 9m for Son of the Mask there, while 15m+ here.

Brandon Gray could have gotten between 1st and 5th place if he hadn't gone so high with Boogeyman. He did great with everything else, compared to other people, but Boogeyman dragged him down a bit.
PEACE, Mike
