Is there a list of just theatrical releases for 2021? I can only find lists that include streaming exclusive films.

Yeesh. Honestly I think it would've been fine just releasing it this waster with how "well" family films are doing but sure. Good sign it's moving up.

F9 moves to June 25th. Same day as Venom 2 so that's probably moving...

Minions: Rise of Gru moves to next year, July 1, 2022.

Surprising. Guess they are expecting the incoming spike to last through early summer.

I saw a full trailer for Minions last might with my Raya show and then it moves. Very weird decision.

F9 and Venom are definitely not releasing on the same date. I'm guessing F9 will move again.

At worst there will be a plateau, unless you’re expecting a new pandemic there’s no reason cases should go up significantly with increasing community immunity and the warmer weather coming.

Loosening restrictions + St Pattys Day + Zombie Jesus Day will all contribute to super spreading events.

By zombie Jesus day, we should be in vaccine open season with enough for all essential workers and those over 65. And one night of drinking is not enough to fuel a nationwide surge.

They pushed Minions because universal knows it mainly has overseas appeal and other countries will not be fully vaccinated till 2022. It has nothing to do with the US.

Black Widow - 7/9/21
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - 9/3/21
Free Guy - 8/13/21
The King's Men - 12/22/21
Deep Water - 1/14/22
Death on the Nile - 2/11/22

King's Men seems like the perfect movie to dump right now but ok.

Mortal Kombat moves a week to April 23. One reason besides more time for GvK and no competition from Black Widow is to have HBO Max subscribers subbed for another month if people signed up for Snyder Cut.
