Checked it (DER ROSENKRIEG = WAR OF THE ROSES, DAS DSCHUNGELBUCH = THE JUNGLE BOOK)

I thought it would be The Jungle Book, cool to see Titanic there

Studios started to report weekly charts in the summer of 1987, so only JUNGLE BOOK's re-releases of 1987 and 1993 are counted (the 2000 re-release didn't make it to the top). Including the 1968 and 1979 re-release the total No. 1s should be at least something like 25...

I thought 10 us too low for Jungle Book. Thanks for clarification.

How do you project Demon Slayer to do in the German box office?

Post subject:  Re: Germany Box-Office Thread

I don't believe movie theaters will be open by April 29th - so way too early to tell how DS will do...

My guess is theaters will open May 20th/May 27th or June 3rd/June 10th - so there will be a lot more shuffling of release dates...

If government goes along, German movie theaters will re-open July 1st

Still waiting for confirmation of the Thursday numbers by the distributor, but my first trend would be $60,000 in 6 theaters for the weekend...

Austria opens today...
