Looks like THE BATMAN will do at least 400k admissions (i.p.) = fourth biggest opening since pandemic began...

Slowest weekend since 50/21 due to beautiful spring weather and weak openers...

Next weekend we should see a big uptick with MORBIUS and SONIC 2 and bad weather for the first time in six weeks...

Biggest weekend of 2022 thanks to bad weather...

SONIC beats MORBIUS but opens much lower than first movie due to stricter age rating (12 vs 6 years), funny thing is, MORBIUS is also rated 12...

Looks pretty comparable to Japan in its retention. Makes sense as both markets are older.

FB3 threepeats on top - with Easter vacations ending, it might struggle to reach the blockbuster mark of 3m admissions...

Mark, how does Avatar 2 feels like? Will it breaks $200M in Germany (jk) or can we expect $100M coming from Germany :)

I think $75M should be a reasonable target. I, of course, being Cameron's fan expect atleast $100M from Germany. Keeping in mind that we are in 2022 not 2009 haha. What's your overall expectation? Highest bid &also the lowest one pls pls pls. Just like to know.....

Right now I'm thinking 8m x €12.50 = €100m...

So DS2's opening day is 5 % ahead of NWH (which had to battle plenty of Covid restrictions)

DS2 opens basically on the same level as FB3, but more frontloaded... Still 4th biggest weekend of the 2020s...
