Also, just cuz it's worth mentioning, if that number holds then MTF sets the record for a Christmas Eve gross and it's practically assured to break the Christmas day record.

Eh, expected drops. Tomorrow should be something to discuss about, if the theater I went to was any indication.

I take back all I said to BKB. The one in a million case happened and BKB was actually right on with his predictions. L.S. will drop 50% in its second weekend. I don't even see it toppinh $14 million this weekend considering the rather low multipliers for family films back in 1999.

  Where's Libs?? Someone drag her in here so I can see what her thoughts are on this since afterall, she did say I didn't have a clue how Christmas at the movies worked now didn't she?? Folks, it all boils down to this: Lemony Snicket sucked and just because it's the holidays doesn't mean moviegoers will be stuopid enough to see bad movies just because it's Christmas.. Lemony Snicket is a prime example of this and I guess you should throw in Fat Albert and maybe, MAYBE Meet The Fockers.. Somehow, I would've thought with the Star Power Meet The Fockers has and "BAB'S"(Barbra Streisand) Coming out of retirement for this, this would've done alot better than what I'm seeing??
