According to Variety, "The Phantom of the Opera" will open on 600 screens. http://www.variety.com/index.asp?layout ... egoryid=13 Warner Bros. is unspooling musical "The Phantom of the Opera" (first on 600 screens, then wider in January). |

That's a really crowded month Flight of the Phoenix and the Dark should've been released on December third, when they won't have as much competition. They'll have a tough time opening against Meet the Fockers. |

Pretty much all what I have expected. Fat Albert in 2800+ theatres? Blech... I hope The Dark will get a decent gross. It deserves it. |
