It is funny how Hollywood is (rightfully) boycotting Russia but happy to be doing business with China, who has done similar and worse than what Russia is doing now.

examples please

Tibet, Hong Kong, financing North Korea during the Korean War, not to mention brutally murdering and starving to death millions of its own citizens.

Correct.

Not to mention when they invade Taiwan. It will happen. I doubt Western governments will go in as hard as they are on Russia.

Looks like AMC is charging a "premium" fee for Batman. Tickets are $1 more around here than Uncharted. Possibly more in bigger cities?

Never a good sign, obviously no one will say no to the first film they have seen in two years, but come on! That looks bad on a sub 150 opening even more.

Having seen it, a $1 premium over Uncharted is a huge bargain. They should be charging double for The Batman. Holy bleep.

Has China invaded another country in the past…say 50 years?
I’m specifically talking another country. Russia has done it twice in the past 10 years.

China is easily as bad as Russia and has far more financial hold over America, which makes them extra dangerous

I saw it yesterday at nearby imax($2 TMobile deal was too good to ignore :-) ). This movies makes Nolan trilogy feel like a MCU movie for sure. I really liked it but not sure its everyone's cup of tea. But Joker was dark and still broke out big and so there is hope.

Crunching some numbers here, Batman is more than doubling up Shang-Chi in pre-sales (+120%) and is almost doubling up Venom 2 in presales (+85%). And those numbers are excluding the Tues & Wed shows from the comparisons, and just going by pure Thursday/Friday sales.
