I’m losing faith in The Batman with ever bit of news indicating an overstuffed film possibly repeating mistakes of the past.

Avatar 2 will drop big time in ticket see but will probably make enough to get over $600m.

Batman will still do big numbers and $600m isn't as HUGE now as it was in the past. This decade we saw 8 movies past that number and we had only 2 before (and Avatar grossed most of its total in this decade). TDK still stands at #12 as of today and with standalone DC movies breaking out (specially Joker) and variety superhero movies becoming a norm, domestic market should respond well to Batman.
