While Domestic is fantastic, overseas holds are also on steroids as many more markets hit their Summer Break. UK will hit next week I am told while France is this week. Germany is more staggered and so only August 1st week has all schools off while August summer days have to be stronger. Most other markets are in Summer break already. There are also few weeks of Winter break in Southern Hemisphere happening in July as well.

In its 3rd tuesday it did 11.8m OS/708m OS. Should hit 800m something next week. Charlie is thinking 1.02B OS for it. So it needs 640m domestic to take down Simba. I think it will do it.

TLK also included 52m+ from Russia and Ukraine. Those markets are dead at the moment

Only big question mark, will the Olympics impact box office holds? Rio 2016 domestic was fine. But some subpar performances London 2012. Europe hosting the event could impact box office there if there's huge interest.

We have seen IO2 do great in the middle of European Soccer tournament which has huge impact over that region. Late Summer holds with Olympics should do good as well. May be France itself might have an impact but it should have complete 85%+ of its run in 15 days time when Olympics start.

Only about $100M away from topping The Lion King. Japan numbers look good so far, but I'm no expert on that subject.

WOM is very good in Japan. Will do 5B Yen plus in the market. But the XR sucks big time and it would be only 33m ish from that market. But its holding well in other markets and so TLK WW is in play as well as Jurassic World DOM/WW.
