Sith is going to drop around 55%. Attack of the Clones and The Phantom Menance both dropped around 50%, I believe, so I'm just going to say it drops a little more. That's still a $15 million Monday. It should have two Mondays on the all-time highest Monday charts by the end of the Memorial Day weekend.

If Sith performs anything like Cloes did, then it will drop 25% for the combined 4 days, that means that means it will have another 85 mill for the 4 day weekend. Clones only dropped 41% for the three day weekend. So judging that way, there is still going to be a lot of coin going to Sith. Madagascar will have it's work cut out for it. It could be at about 288-300 by next Monday.

Stop spamming!

And as far as Star Wars, depending on how it holds up this week, I'd say a drop of 50% for the three day weekend would not be all that unusual. It isn't as frontloaded as initially thought, but at the same time a lot of fans have seen it two or three times in its first weekend, something that is not going to hold up much longer.

I disagree with your theory....Sith held up better on Sunday than Clones, the force is strong with this one. It will fall less than 45%.

Yes but I think a great deal of that is repeat viewings. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to have my theory proven incorrect, but I'm just not sure the great legs will hold up this weekend. I'm not saying a drop of 64% like Harry Potter, but I'm also not saying a sub-40% drop.

Well, I'd say that saturday increase, and sunday drop might be early sign of legs...but as Rogue, wouldn't be THAT suprised by a drop of 50%. Hopefully won't happen. ;)

Yeah, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see a drop of less then 45%, but I just don't think it is going to happen.

I am in the $470 million club after all.

Yeah, Prince Charming - King - Queen - Princess Fiona all are GREAT characters

Irreverant humor? great songs?
excellent pacing? (The first half of movie ,especially The Dinner scene was very boring)

cut off the last 15 minutes and character of Puss In Boots .. this movie is doomed!!

Obviously more people agreed with my version than yours. Shrek 2 is the 3rd biggest movie of all-time in the US and the 6th biggest worldwide.

Shrek 2 isn't half the film that any of the Pixars are, and the original was overrated in the first place.

Why would I be pissed off? Pixar produces nothing but top-notch quality entertainment, DW produces fart jokes.

But a lot of hardcore Pixar lovers hate Shrek and Shrek 2 and try to put it down. The majority of the moviegoers disagree.

I think both studios produce good films. Shrek 2 was not as good as the original, but still quite funny and original.

Pixar's films are infinitely better films, but the Shrek movies are great entertainment. There's a difference.

Agreed. Pixar tells better stories, while a lot of times, Dreamworks films have a lot more humor, albeit crude.

Good point guys. I never quite put my finger on the difference between the two, but that's exactly it. I'm pretty frustrated by the Shrek 2 jokes I heard even on the trailer and chat forum. Its beyond crude sometimes, and that only holds my attention for so long when dealing with feature length storylines. That's also why I'm not a big fan of the French farce movies too.
