I'm actually seeing a number of TV ads, just like Hostage, Cursed, and Sin City. Miramax/Dimensions seems to really be trying to release everything they can and get some decent cash out of it too. Right now I'd guess 10/27.

Don't forget that MINDHUNTERS's target audience has crossover with UNLEASHED.

This flick was out here in Finland last summer and I checked it out recently.

It's a very good movie IMHO. In order to apprectiate it's important to remember what it is: A fun, cheesy rollercoaster ride. It has not pretension of being more than it is. It knows EXACTLY what it sets out to do, and does it succesfully.

Acting was quite good all in all, and Harlin directs with high effectivity, even if he goes to flashy overdrive every once in while. But never too much to distract from the story. The mystery aspect kept me guessing, and the script was very eventful. Add some great, suprisingly gory kills and you have a terrific little thriller.

Sure, in retrospect the story doesn't really make much sense, and it's often cliched. But this is a kind of film where you are supposed to leave your brain at the door and just enjoy the ride.

Mindhunters is just FUN. In fact it's the most fun movie I've seen so far this year, even if it's not the best one.

I would give it 8/10 for giving me two hours if exhilarating fun. But I have no interest in seeing it again. It's unlikely to have much repetition value.

I think it COULD have made solid money. 13/40, maybe. But since the studio has practically abandoned the movie, it should be happy to go over 15 million during it's run. A shame really, since this flick is a crowdpleaser.
