I'll tell ya what: I'll bet there are more reports of Government/Alien Abductions than you actually here about for people's fear of being ridiculed if they even said something about it.. I definitely believe in stuff like AREA 51 or ROSWELL and that we are not alone in this Universe.. To suggest otherwise shows an ignorance on your part.. As for a huge Volcano errupting?? It's true and it's probably the Canary Island Volcano that there referring to and YES, it is being monitored very closely.. If that thing blows and slides off into the ocean below, you'll have TSUNAMI several hundred feet high wipe out the East Coast...

Now what I have here was taken inside the house in Amityville shortly after the Lutz's fled 112 Ocean Ave after 28 Days.. Psychic Investigators as well as Demonologist were snapping pics of inside the house for an "In Search Of" Show to be televised over the accounts of this.. When they developed the film, a ghostly figure of a boy could be seen peering out from the door way with glowing eyes which I posted above in the links.. It should also be noted that when they took these pics, there was nothing there until the film was developed and the ghostly image of the Lutz boy who was murdered showed up.. George Lutz who owns the right to this story asked that they be removed from the OFFICIAL Website of The Amityville Horror, but I found them tucked away in another link and I don't know how much longer they'll be up before being taken down, so enjoy these and you be the judge.. Very Creepy Folks!!!

Well, if they were fake, then George Lutz would not have requested them to be taken down from the OFFICIAL Amityville Horror site for legal reasons... Call it an open mind and the ability to believe in Hauntings and the Supernatural, because things like this DO exist.. It's a matter of you keeping an open mind about the subject and not being so quick to dismiss everything on the subject as a hoax.. Like I said: In this world, we live in a very skeptical cynical, jaded world where everything is a "seeing is believing type of thing"...

Amityville will gross around £3,000,000 total over here.

Wow, there are some high predictions here. I only read the first few pages, so they may have even gone up. I think its going to pleasantly surprise. Hell, even I might go see this movie in theatres, and that's saying something. The name has a vague sense of memory even to people that never saw the original (like me). Its a good name, its like you can remember it from somewhere but not sure when/where. Its piqued alot of "the new generation's" interest that way.

As to people that love the original. I can't be a pro on this cause I've seen too few, but some KJers have been putting me through Horror 101, and I must say, while conceptually some of them are excellent, they are starting to feel a bit dated. There had been alot of progress in depicting these events in a more "realistic" fashion. That not to say they probably weren't realer then, but that now they are more convincing. I don't know, I think even fans of the original might love a well done refresher as long as it doesn't stray far in storyline and only updates the dialogue and special fx.

I think it'll do well. 90 million. That's not 150, but its far from a dissappointment either.

Hell, I've even resigned myself to the fact that it won't open to no 50 Million like I've predicted, but I'm BKB and too stubborn to back down and in any event, I will be more than happy to change my signature if it doesn't just because I don't care.. =D> Perhaps I can fly to New York and you and I can go on a date and I'll take you to see it and hold you close if you get scared?? :yikes:

the BBC dont do commercials. But there have been a helluva a lot of tv advertisment for this movie over here. Theres pretty much an advert every 15minutes, in the evening.
