You really think Harry Knowles wasn't going to love this movie anyway?? He even admits he made up his mind months ago he'd love this no matter what.. I mean it wasn't like Knowles would've been honest anyway if there were something he didn't like about it and would've glossed over it..

And you made up your mind that you will hate it...
Any difference? No

Actually, yeah there's a big difference because like with any movie in the past I was predisposed to not liking and ended up liking it, I admit it in my reviews.. I will treat this movie the very same way and if there are some elements to it that are good, I'll mention it and if there are elements to it I despise, I will also mention that to.. The difference is this Chipmunky: I'm going to REVIEW this movie, not Fanboy fawn and ejaculate over it like Knowles did or the other 14 reviews from BlueFagintights.Net.. No, I'm gonna give an actual and thorough detailed review of this the way it should be.. Stay tuned..

But you're still going into the movie expecting it to be crap.
So whether you like it or not... you still have a horrible attitude towards it... which is very immature for an almost 40 year old

Here's a thought: Why don't you go play your DragonballZ Game and get off my rearend kid.. How the fuc* is it immature for me to have bad attitude toward an alrerady Classic movie by Richard Donner butchered by Bryan Singer along with the Casting of a characer like SUPERMAN in an actor that looks about as big and intimidating as, well YOU??

A love letter...
Quote: I don't believe I am slipping into the realm of hyperbole when I say that Superman Returns is the Lord of the Rings of superhero films - in both scope and emotion of the story.
Sounds good.

The early reviews are increasingly enocuraging, but nearly all of them are fanboy reviews.
But I think it's safe to say at this point that the film is good. Is it very good or even great? Maybe. I hope for the best, but I wouldn't start celebrating quiet yet.

The Gospel of Superman
The Man of Steel goes godly in a mythic parable that--don't worry--delivers the action-film goods . . . The best Hollywood movies always knew how to sneak a beguiling subtext into a crowd-pleasing story. Superman Returns is in that grand tradition. That's why it's beyond Super. It's superb.

There are already quite a few non fanboy (p)reviews as well (Variety, Time, Boston Herald, Hollywood Reporter etc)...

Oops, sorry. And thanks.
And wow at that review. That's a nice last line to promote the film. I remember BKB saying a while ago he is waiting for a real review, from a magazine like Time, since he claimed the Boston Herald review et al. as being not professional/real enough. Well, here it is BKB. Heh.
PEACE, Mike.
