Both MDB and Aviator are performing like crap and I can't believe that MDB STILL can't manage to get to #2 over a cheesy PG-13 Horror movie like Boogeyman..
.................... Aviator has already passed Ray at the BO, I guess Ray performed like crap too huh? Aviator is at 82mil as of now and will probably end up with around 110mil, please tell me why its performing like crap, hell for that matter please tell me why MDB a movie in only 2000 theaters is performing like crap? Last week is was in 5th place and this week it jumped to 4th with only a 14% decline.

Perhaps you can explain to me WHY MDB hasn't been expanded to like 3000 or 4000 screens if it's so good??? Why??? Why have they limited it to only 2000 screens if it's so gushingly good according to the critics?? :-k

Not a mainstream movie, eventually it'll probably get around 3000 ( after it wins best picture at the oscars )

That should read "If it Wins"... Nothing is cemented in stone yet with this and there have been upsets in the Past and that's what I'm hoping for this year: An upset with RAY Winning BEST PICTURE and Clint Eastwood BEST DIRECTOR.. It's not impossible you know?? :-k

This is how I see it.
Best Picture - MDB
Best Actor - Jamie Foxx
Best Director - Martin Scorsese ( not that he really deserves it - but I think he'll get it this year out of pity for never winning before, though I think his chances are 50/50 Eastwood could easily get it) An Upset would be Sideways winning or Finding Neverland, Ray winning would be out of this world.

RAY RULES and deserves BEST PICTURE.. =D> Jamie Foxx had to work ALOT harder than Clint to make this movie and character come to life and did it so well that at times, I thought I was looking at Ray Charles.. The Academy will love this..

Ok, thats why Jamie Foxx will get his oscar - but the movie wont. Like I said in another thread the movie is all about Jamie Foxx, he puts the movie on his back. The movie doesnt have a fantastic script or fantastic directing, it has fantastic acting by one man that pushes it from your ordinary typical biopic to something more. Yes Jamie Foxx made the movie - but Clint Eastwood LITERALLY made MDB, it was easy for Clint? How so? He directed and acted in the movie, and if you see the movie, you'll realize his performance MADE Morgan Freeman and Hillary Swanks performances better. Clint Eastwood worked his ass off for this movie, Jamie Foxx just acted.

RAY Had a Fantastic Script and Fantastic Directing and was very well detailed and chronicled with this Man's life.. With that having been said, RAY Pulls off the stunning upset and wins BEST PICTURE over MDB... =D>

Hey BKB you wanna make a little bet? If Ray wins i'll change my sig and avatar to whatever you want and if MDB wins you change your sig and avatar to whatever I want. If neither win, then well nobody wins.

Jesus Christ.. What difference would it make if I did or didn't see MDB??? :-k Explain this to me??? :-k What if I saw it and still thought RAY was the better film to win BEST PICTURE?? :-k Then what?? :-k You can't force me how to feel about something if my mind is already set on a movie I feel will win BEST PICTURE and that is RAY.. As for me being ashamed?? For what??? :-k Why should I be ashamed over the Oscars??? :???: My feeling already is that MDB is dubbed "ROCKY VI" but with a woman and a twist ending... Too bad Stallone didn't get to this idea before Clint, otherwise this could've probably of been ROCKY VI..

Trust me B, after you've seen MDB you'll support it 100%.

No....BKB All I am saying is that its really ridiculous to say Ray is a better movie when you have not seen the other movies. As someone who(usually) likes good movies...I think you would love M$B

Both MDB and Aviator are performing like crap and I can't believe that MDB STILL can't manage to get to #2 over a cheesy PG-13 Horror movie like Boogeyman..

LOL! I really love your posts!! It's amazing how you really don't know anything about box office!! Thanks for making me lauch each single day! =D>
