I still can't believe how well shark tale is doing.

CGI-animated movies have been around for almost 9 years, and they still all do well, regardless of bad reviews (Final fantasy is the only exception to this rule that i can think of)

I know alot of people were thinking that shark take would...pardon the pun...jump the shark for CGI animated films, but it has exceeded almost all expectations.

Which CGI movie do you think will mark the beginning of the end for its genre?

I don't think any film will mark the "beginning of the end". The genre is popular, because of it's audience, and that audience won't disappear. With more competition, the average gross will probably decrease, but with more options to chose from total ticket sales for the genre will increase if anything. We will see 850m-1b this year for the genre. Next year it should top a billion, and I don't think it will ever again drop below that.

I don't think it will do a Billion next year, right now I count 5 movies that will be released next year but I don't see a Finding Nemo or Shrek in the making my guess would be close to 700m.

The films is a little shy of where I expected it to be at this point. I have to change my prediction to 169m.
