Re: Into the Woods Biggest Broadway Musical Adaptation Ever
Defend it with something real. RT never matters. They are pointing out that it's generally annoying for you to update after every 3-5 new reviews, especially when it's not exactly changing more than a % or 2. We all can access RT easily. There's nothing to defend man, get your head out of your ass.
Also, using Chicago show tunes is no where near as cool as you think it is. It's really cringe worthy actually. People already think your racist, no reason to give them any more fuel.
I kind of want this to blow up now for the sheer sake of something overperforming. It needs about a 12+ opening day to hit 28+ 3 day.

Re: Into the Woods Biggest Broadway Musical Adaptation Ever
I get it. i was only updating it when you or Chippy made a remark. I will stop now as it will obviously remain fresh.
Is Chicago racist? Really? I watched it today, and it stars a black woman in a position of power. But I think I will use it whenever you post something I disagree with.

No, I was referring to your crazy rant in the Annie prediction thread. Show tunes is just weird and only really relatable if you know the song. Also it's not like it bothers me, I just think your better than it, way too corny, haha. Though people think you're only a 12-15 year old girl so you'll get there. Either way after midnight. Merry Christmas.

I haven't looked at the early numbers for this, but I'm starting to think this will not do well at all.
JK, I'm just trying to not get my hopes up.

Your hopes were already quite up as evident in the last 8 pages of this thread.

A 13-14 million OD puts it on pace for around 30 million 3 day and 40 million 4 day. If it can hold like a normal Disney flick and not a fangirl frontloaded musical like Les Miserables, this club has a chance. It will need some award season heat though.

Re: Into the Woods Biggest Broadway Musical Adaptation Ever
About to see the movie but I am hearing a lot of negative things come in out of the previous showing. The two big things I am hearing is that the humor is gone and also the wolf part did not fit the rest of the movie.

The humor is there. The wolf part is like 5 minutes, and it neither makes nor breaks the film.

It's not so much that the wolf doesn't fit as it is that Johnny Depp Being Johnny Depp can easily pull a viewer straight out of the movie.

I’m gonna predict Hamilton in 2026 for America 250.

Re: Into the Woods Biggest Broadway Musical Adaptation Ever
That reminds me, they should so release an ID4 sequel with Will Smith on July 4, 2026. After Bad Boys 4, seems like he really needs to do a legit good ID4 sequel.
