O12 looks to be a lock for 200million atleast now, Meet the fockers is doing great so far it will be a huge hit overseas aswell. Blade trininty isnt doing too badly, should wind up with 100million worldwide.

Considering that Blade: Trinity has Japan, Germany and Italy ahead, I think it's a lock for $130+ million worldwide.
Alexander is having a nice run overseas, might even hit $180 million worldwide, but it'll remain a huge bomb.
Meet the Fockers has a good chance at hitting $500 million.

If Blade Trinity passes $100M, then that would be awesome, and $130M would put it not far behind the other 2.

I dont know about 130m ww, the second only made about 2-3million in Japan i think, and about the same in Italy. From Germany I think it could atleast match Blade 2; 10million and possibly 10million from Spain. Russia i think will produce 5 million+ aswell. 100million is a lock for now.

If Alexander hit $180 million worldwide, I don't think that it is a "bomb"; It would win back its cost and turn a profit on home video market.

It's "official" budget is $165 million. Its rumored budget is $200 million. Its advertisement costs in the USA alone are $60 million, worldwide $100+ million. That brings us at the studio having spent $250+ million on Alexander. Considering that the studio gets only 40% of the overseas gross, it'll remain a bomb, even if it makes $200 million worldwide.

I didn't know Blade 2 did that badly in Japan. That surprises me actually. Well, right now, I'd expect at least $6-7 million in Japan and another $5 million from Italy. You're right, Germany will give it at least $10 million, Spain probably around $8 million. USA, France, UK and other holdovers will give it at least another $5 million and another $5 million from Russia. Then it has tons of small markets to open in like Netherlands, South Africa, Austria, Portugal, Scandinavia, Poland and others. Those will generate around $15 million. That should put it at $105 million worldwide.
It'll depend on Japan how well it'll fare.

Shrek 2's International total $470,272,271 and WW total is $911.5 mil.
Italy is at $20.7 mil. after the 3rd weekend. It has passed The Incredibles ($19.5 mil. in 6 weeks) in Italy which had started off with a bigger opening .
I was hoping for $20 mil. for Shrek 2 in Italy, which is what SM2 (bad legs) made after a $9.5 mil opening. Shrek 2's final total in Italy might end up around $ 30 mil.

I just keep my fingers crossed that it doesn't pass Jurassic Park worldwide.

Jurassic park is a much bigger hit than Shrek 2. It made 563 mil. overseas in 1993 when the biggest overseas movie upto that point was E.T with $337 mil.

In fact, this movie is financed by Intermedia (a Euro company), Warner Bros paid $50 million to acquire the rights of North America, U.K., Latin America, Italy, Australia and New Zealand.
Intermedia recouped more than half of this movie's budget through sales to overseas distributors, tax breaks, incentives or film funds. Warner Bros would lose money on this movie, but Intermedia wouldn't. (Although Warner Bros will recoup its entire P&A spend at first-dollar gross from the US box office.)
PS: According to Intermedia, if this movie makes over $100 million foreign, most overseas distributors will be OK.

No movie in history has made over $700 million Worldwide without making at least $50 mil. from Japan. Shrek 2 not only cleared $700 mil. and the WW total stands now at $912 mil. The fact that it cleared $900 million WW with only $25 million from Japan is amazing.

Ya, it's quite impressive.
I;m not surprised an animated film achieved that; I think only an animated film could have been the first.
That's because animation is so huge in France and the UK; if a film does exceptionally well there, a small gross from Japan can be made up for, which is what happened in this case.
But, Shrek 2's inability to match Nemo overseas shows that, if the Japanese want to back a film up, it will win out at the end internationally.

Box, what do you think MTF might do internationally?
I used to think $175 mil. Maybe $250 mil. is more realistic.

It wont do as well internatioanlly as it is doing domestically, because the doemstic figures are increased due to the holidays, but seing as though MTF is opening places after the holidays it will pretty much the same business as the first internationally ($164M).
Probably more, but only due to inflation and/or the firsts mega success, so ill say:
Meet the Fockers:
Domestic: $270 Million
Intl: $200 Million
WW: $470 Million

I would not be surprised if MTF does better overseas than in the US. In Australia already its made $11.5million in 7days, thats more than what O12 has made in 3 weeks $200million is a solid prediction but im willing to bet it'll make more.
