And thats all Nolan. I HATED the scene where the one board member tells Mr. Earle that the water vaporizer got stolen. I always found that to be without a doubt the worst way to introduce the water vaporizer. Totally agree. That scene bothers me. Luckily it is short and followed by a great scene (Bruce buying the hotel).

The Mag-Pod wrote: redfirebird2008 wrote: That's because during part of the flaw, there is some serious brilliance thrown down. Batman escaping SWAT with the bats is fucking awesome, one of my favorite scenes in the movie. The Tumbler chase scene is AWESOME. Again, one of my favorites in the movie. And the personal conflict between Bruce and Ra's on the train is great, even though I couldn't tell who was winning b/c of the editing/camerawork on the fight. But the microwave emitter is lame as hell. Typical "doomsday device" plot. LAME. LAME. LAME. Now, mind you, the first hour of this movie is incredible and so are the scenes I mentioned above. Plus the final scene on the rooftop makes up for the microwave emitter. It is my single favorite "ending scene" in any movie ever. So as I said, fuck the haters even though I agree with them on the microwave emitter and fight scenes being a flaw. But still, fuck 'em. If that's the best they can come up with, well fuck 'em. I've got far bigger complaints with the likes of Batman '89 (which I also love) and Spidey 2 so fuck the haters. Fight scenes worked in the movie. I wish it wasn't so tightly edited, but it wasn't really a bad thing. The microwave emitter plot worked. This wasn't a Lex Luthor plot when they tried to kill people in order to make money. Or some Spider-Man plot where the villain has just gone insane. This was basically a master-plan of a intellectual (Ra) whose plan for world peace is only achievable in his eyes by making everyone go crazy and killing themselves. That's awesome. I'm starting to doubt you redfirebird....you're not the Bat-fan I thought you were.... Dude, believe me. I'm the biggest Batman fan you'll come across. I paid fucking $27 for two IMAX tickets in December just to watch the Prologue and walk out b/c we had no interest in seeing I Am Legend. If that ain't crazy, I don't know what is. Except this. I'm spending $200 something just to see TDK in IMAX. Flying to Houston where my parents live since there's not an IMAX theater within a decent driving distance of my current town. Do not get me wrong. There are flaws in BB but it is by far my favorite movie ever. It ain't the best movie ever, not by a long shot. But it is my favorite and definitely by a long shot. Hopefully TDK can correct some of these flaws and then I can die a happy man.

Begins was great, hands down the best comic book film ever... and then Ra's came back... Now it's just tied for the best comic book film ever.

I loved the below comment in HR review of TDK. Those bags of money in the movie's opening bank heist are nothing compared with the worldwide boxoffice haul "Dark Knight" will take from theaters. Repeat viewings are a certainty.http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/tel ... &rid=11376

The trailer from Wizard World is up on In Contention. It's too spoiler-heavy to have made for an awesome in-theatre trailer, but it's my favorite one of the bunch.
The campaign on this one has been excellent all around. The spots seem like they're everywhere at this point.

The Dark Knight will air in 84 Imax around the country starting next weekend, that could add as much as 15 million to its opening weekend.

I have heard other rumors saying it will be on it, who knows at this point. They have been slow in coming out with a HBP trailer, not really sure why.
