Re: China Box Office (Skyfall) Jack the Giant Slayer opens tomorrow. I will see it next weekend. Opening on a Monday means it will have a full 7-day gross when they are reported the following week.

Re: China Box Office (Skyfall) I am again surprised at the worse release scheduling for Jack...even in OS markets. It could have atleast waited for some time or released earlier to give itself some gap from Oz.

Re: China Box Office (Skyfall) Yes but if they could have pushed to get it released in China by last week of Feb which would have given it a month's gap before Oz. Otherwise even 2-3 weeks of gap would be great. Even mid of April would have been better.

Re: China Box Office (Skyfall) Yes, April would have been better. February was off-limits, I think, because there are tons of foreign movies released with days of each other in March and April, so I guess SARFT didn't allow Feb releasing.

Re: China Box Office (Skyfall) Aah I see but it could have been like start of March (1st week) since Oz is coming in 3rd week. April would have been better still it would have to compete for 3D competition of Oblivion and IM3 (if it releases a week earlier like many countries).
