Kudos for that predictions, especially The Flight of the Phoenix' opening weekend prediction, David! You almost nailed it. Not bad at all, considering how far off pretty much everyone has been on most movies so far...

Interesting to see how immensly overpredicted Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events was. :)

Possibly. I still think that will make $200 million, though. $300 million, I doubt.

It's from the production company who brought us Around the World in 80 Days. So I think there might be reason to worry.

@ Dr. Lecter: Thanks, but it is a movie about people building a plane after all.

Looking back at these predictions, I can only say that it is really hard to predict movies ahead of time.

However, there were some great predictions that I'd like to point out.

DP07 not only nailed Flight of the Phoenix opening, she was also the one who went with $200+ million for Meet the Fockers and almost nailed Meet the Fockers' 5-day opening. He also was very close on Fat Albert's opening weekend and won't be too far off as far as the total of that movie goes. Good job! :D

El_masked_esteROIDe_user (a.k.a. Roid Rage) was extremely off oin Closer's opening weekend, but his total gross prediction for Closer will be pretty much right on.

Matatonio was the only one who went with under $60 million for Spanglish and that is obviously paying off.

Mr. X almost nailed Ocean's Twelve's run.

Micasey300 was the only one who went rather low on Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events. He gave it $133 million for total and this is not too far than what the movie will end up with.

Congrats to all of you, guys! ;)
