 Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
Feel it in my bones. One feels unnecessary and the other feels unmissable. This is gonna be a slaughter.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
I do agree that Jurassic World soft re-booting 3 years after the last poorly received film is the definition of unnecessary. However, it should still be good for $275m at minimum.
I just don't think Superman can reach $550m.
it wont double it but it will soundly beat it.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
I could see it... but idk. I think Jurassic should be good for $240m. Superman doing over 450m seems a bit much but possible. I'm gonna go with no for now. But its totally possible people just don't see Jurassic.

In, I was never feeling this Jurassic reboot being so fast or the cast here.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
We all predicted doom and gloom for Jurassic World Dominion.
Don't see this happening, but I could see a sub 250 gross at worst. So Superman would need high 400s at least and I don't see that.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
Superman has the broadest potential range of any major tent pole that I can recall in 25 years of this, I am reminded of 2005's King Kong where the media and predictors are hyping as a massive monster approaching but in the background there are reasonable voices being like ".....remember the character's history".
I would say I am out of this club, and I think Jurassic wins the global gross contest even though Super should be favored domestic

Jurassic doing $250M dom but still getting to near a billion worldwide wouldn't surprises me. Age ot Extinction like, though that movie had the full weight of China behind it while Jurassic may not.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
Early word from screenings is pretty bad. Buzz is low for Jurassic (as we all expected). Huge blunder by Universal.

Out. Rebirth will probably hit around 120m+ for 5 day and at least 225m DOM. I dont see Supes hitting 450m DOM. So I am out. My expectations for Supes is 120/330 kind of run. F4 in the 3rd weekend is not ideal.

Re: Superman Doubles Jurassic World Club
I guess they'll get the last laugh if it makes 200/800 on a 180 budget. But in the long run they may regret not protecting the brand and having another all time blockbuster hit one day.

I still think Jurassic Flop is happening and that Superman will become the must-see movie of the year when the reviews drop. KEEP THE FAITH!

Jurassic Dominion or whatever it's called is very much giving Jurassic Park 3, like a Saturday morning special version of the franchise that's a footnote to the other entries. It does ok enough to not lose money but not enough to continue the series in its current incarnation.
I think the only way Jurassic Park gets to mega blockbuster levels again if it's a sci-fi far future thing where dinosaurs now roam the entire Earth right alongside humans and they're part of everyday life, cities need to be walled to protect against T-rexes kind of thing.

The film is so bland and unnecessary that most of us can't remember the title lol. It's called Jurassic World: Rebirth. Again - bland. That's a title you give a revival of a dominant franchise. Uni did the right thing going from Park to World in 2025. Here they have blundered on three levels - (a) releasing the film so soon after the last trilogy (b) keeping "World" in the title thus making it feel like a 4th in the "world" series and (c) coming up with what looks to be more of the same just with characters noone cares about (from what I hear). I agree - they have hurt the franchise and will have to lay dormant for a while before coming up with something truly different and spectacular.
