With ScarJo there, there's basically no male lead.

 Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Looks like a (better) version of part 3 which I always liked outside of the ridiculously abrupt ending

 Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
Is it really not getting any imax theaters or are they just waiting to see how F1 performs? That would be a major L for Universal. Superman is gonna wipe this movie off the map.

 Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
This should do big numbers overseas, of course, but either way - count me firmly in the club unimpressed by the concept and trailers. TBH when it was rushed into production very randomly, I expected a stronger hook. When it was announced that Edwards was directing, I expected more compelling and stunning trailers and set pieces. This looks by the numbers in my humble opinion. From a producers perspective, I think an early 1990s prequel set during the construction of JP with some 'covered' up events - "Welcome to Jurassic Park" set in 1991/1992 as the original facility is under construction, the team is learning what the dinosaurs can do, etc would be fresh. Or or the rumored JW prequel featuring the team tasked with capturing the Dinos to make way for the new construction - would have been exciting. Thee first JP and JW films felt exciting because of the theme park element. This one just looked like a King Kong type film. And yes obviously trailer views being low, even lower the F1, is notable. Not that F1 will beat this LOL but it feels like the buzz is just muted for the moment.

ScarJo, Bailey, Ali always felt meh as a cast here, like if they built it around one of the Gen Z stars it at least feels like a different angle than the previous movies. Like Holland could have hit with this in another Uncharted type character.

 Re: Jurassic Park 7 Predictions
The way they keep churning out Jurassic Park sequels, you’d think Universal has to make one every few years just to keep the rights—like Sony with Spider-Man Hehe.
