 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
Final Destination for 40 mil, good considering the recent horror but I had hopes for a crazier breakout. It would have been nice to at least have some recognizable TV type actors or something in the cast, you can tell the expectations were low when they made this.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
True but a few adjust over 100 and most over 90, so 42 OW and most likely not the best legs it’s staying in it’s pretty consistent audience.

This is breaking out.
A new gen of viewers who grew up watching clips on YouTube will help add to the nostalgia crowd.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
Final Destination was always a B-tier horror franchise known for campy deaths more than being a 'quality film' so 91% on RT is shocking lol

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
I think its going over 50m OW at this point. Sales growth have been great this week helped by uber strong reviews. I think it should hit 100m domestic even if the run is frontloaded.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
I'm hoping its 2nd weekend being a 4-day weekend and counter programming a family film and adult actioner can keep FD's second wknd drop to something decent. Good WOM and reviews should also hopefully help.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
Friendship is doing great. I'm curious how badly it crashes when it goes wide.
I am hoping Clown in a Cornfield can make it to 10 Million, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I didn't think it would after opening weekend. Final Destination was going to crush it.
Speaking of which, that had a great opening.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
FD opening > 50m is amazing. Its weekend trend is also amazing.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
-60% Monday (5 million) and +22% Tuesday (6.2 million) coming off Canadian long weekend seems like a decent start for Final Destination.

 Re: May-16-18 Predictions
I heard FD is going to On Demand within 2 weeks?? That is ridiculous as I think this film will have decent legs after the initial 2nd weekend drop.

That's the sensible thing to do - especially for theatres who can do with depth of product (even with the L&S/MI8 combo expected to rake it in).
