And I also do not believe, even if the controversy builds, that the film will be hurt. Even if it started to have 70% drops from now, it has still made more than anyone thought it would pre-presales. If it ends with $90 million, it's done mightily well.

Controversy will only help with awareness. I think its going for 150m+ domestic at this point.

FYI Coraline re-release is having huge presales for today. its looking like 4m+ thursday !!!

Coraline made $7,149,366 last year in its re-release.

14 years later, with a $82,435,595 domestic total, will be at $86M+ with those pre-sales so going to hit $100M eventually.

Wow at Coraline. Too bad these showings don't work for A-list, makes it more impressive since a lot of showings near me are full.

Maybe Laika should have made a Coraline 2 instead of the huge bomb that was Missing Link.

May be close to 6.5m for Romulus and 3.5m for Coraline.
