Looks like it’ll do what beginning did adjusted, 24/55-58 total

This will probably be the lowest of the series adjusted.

Exorcist 2-118 million
Exorcist: the beginning-70 million
Exorcist 3- 60 million

If they just had David Gordon Green’s horror followup be an original exorcist movie with a 10 million budget it still probably opens to 25 mil.

David Gordan Green has such an odd career. Going from indie dramas to stoner comedies to horror franchises. And when he pivots he goes all in, not just one movie but ten years of a the new genre.

But he gave us Pineapple Express so I'm still down with the DGG no matter how many mid horror remakes he does.

This had potential to be really big. Too bad.

I guess moving away from Swift was a good move. It would've got completely overlooked.

Stoner comedy DGG was the best DGG, Your Highness was most underrated comedy of the 00s.

Almost 12 million is a good rebound though after that preview number, didn't think it would get over 10 with that

Inflation adjusted THE EXORCIST: BELIEVER opens below the 1977 ($34.7m) and 2004 ($29.1m) edition and barely above the 1990 movie ($25.4m)....
