 Re: July 28-30 predictions
I didn’t say it was doing 40, just that if it does 4m previews and doesn’t hit 35-40m, it’s VERY front loaded for some reason

 Re: July 28-30 predictions
Not being released in at least September is silly. The Haunted Mansion is a popular ride so that's why I expected a good opening before this month.

 Re: July 28-30 predictions
It doesn't get any better for Cruise and co. While Barbie adds 94 cinemas, Oppenheimer adds 37, and Sound of Freedom adds 126, Dead Reckoning loses a whopping 1,130!!!! Spider-Verse also loses a ton, as does The Little Mermaid and The Flash, so no $400m, $300m, or $108m milestones being reached with those.

 Re: July 28-30 predictions
Is M:I going to stabilize this weekend? I really don't think so. Barbie and Oppenheimer are still the films to see, and even though M:I isn't posting big numbers anymore (so it should be easier to stabilize) I just don't see it. Its weekdays drops plus the 1,130 theatre chop feels ominous. Unless we can call a 55% drop instead of a 64% drop "stabilizing".

At this point I'm just cheering for MI to stay above $10M this weekend (-48.3% drop or better). That may be optimistic.

 Re: July 28-30 predictions
Haunted Mansion previews were front loaded(PS heavy) and big market skewed. So it was nothing like jungle cruise. Friday PS makes me think around 10m with previews at best. May be 9.5m. Its going to be buried by Barbenheimer. Terrible thing is its taking away PLF from Barbie.
