 Re: January 13-16 Predictions I know this is the 5th weekend but the last movie with six straight weekends at #1 was Avatar.

Re: January 13-16 Predictions Yeah I regret guessing 6 Million in the January/February contest. I figured it's MLK weekend and that might help. It used to. Not sure why they didn't put any money into advertising it.

I'm thinking it's headed to $700m even at the moment unless drops do get closer to 20-25% from here. That said - $700m to TGM's gross isn't that big a gap. _________________

Re: January 13-16 Predictions Puss will likely join Who Framed Roger Rabbit as the only animated movies to gross $150M+ off of under $15M 3days openings. Realize it had Wed/Thur extra days but still expect its OW would have been under $15M with the weather and Christmas Eve.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit $11,226,239 OW / $156,452,370 total
Aladdin pulled $19,289,073 OW / $217,350,219 total. Believe Puss would become only the second animated movie to do $200M+ from an under $20M OW if it manages to leg its way there. It's $88M away now off of a $14.4M 3day weekend so needs a little above a 7.5X multiplier to get there. Not likely but not impossible either.
