 Re: Halloween End Previews
I'm also hoping Smile increases. It did the first two weekends. Though last weekend Monday was a holiday.

 Re: Halloween End Previews
That looks exceptional for Terrifier 2. It's Saturday was bigger than its opening day with 116 fewer theaters. Of course benefiting from Halloween but was there a Sat promo or something?

 Re: Halloween End Previews
I think it helped that a lot of theaters had more showtimes now. The first weekend they were just one or two a night. There was also a lot of buzz about it this past week with reports of people puking, fainting and crying .

It's already at almost 10X its budget by just it's 11th day of release.

I saw Smile AND Terrifier 2 on Sunday. I did my part to help them.

Looks like Universal will report final numbers barely over $40m...

 Re: Halloween End Previews
Disappointed because of inflated late expectations, but honestly, and logically anything over $40 million was fine. And you just have to look at the Halloween franchise as a whole to see that the 1-2-3 spots all belong to the DGG movies. So as a series Halloween is trending upwards. The top three openings in the franchise and the top three grosses, too.
I think we just got ahead of ourselves because the 2018 film overperformed.

Looks like HE's reign on top lasted only 6 days - SMILE is ahead on Thursday so far...
