You ARE acting like it can't POSSIBLY do well at the box office Mike.

Halloween Ends is doing a lot better than I thought. Two factors I considered for my prediction were (1) many fans didn't like Halloween Kills and (2) movie goers were saving their money to see Black Adam (and the surprise appearance of a DC icon) the following week. I just blew this month's box office contest.

Well the weekend estimate is already down to 43 Million after a worse than expected Friday.

Meanwhile Smile has an estimated 32% Friday to Friday drop.

It's also not that I want it to bomb. I love when an R rated slasher does well. But it just seemed headed in that direction with so much negativity from fans plus people weren't over the moon with Halloween Kills. Also Smile is doing great business still which would eat into it.

Mike's right about one thing, its reviews are bad. It didn't stay near 60%. Now down to 39%.

It's back up to 40% but crucially the audience score is at 57% so it's not the absolute disaster that people are making it out to be.
