An IRL friend of mine tagged in a Facebook post of him sharing the character posters for this and it got a surprising amount of love from non-cinephile friends. "The next 300" is a bit much, but there does seem to be a surprising level of anticipation surrounding this movie among more casual moviegoers. Not sure it'll be enough for its $70M budget, but I am wondering if it will be one of the bigger R-rated hits of the pandemic (the only non-sequel ones to make $40M+ in the last two years have been House of Gucci and [technically] Demon Slayer).

Buzz is building on this one from the great reviews and reception. If they do enough sneaks this weekend and with the market expanding a serious opportunity for a breakout here.

I'm thinking it nudges $25m OW which would be superb.
