Morbius's drop LOL

Morbius 83% drop truly is epic. That 74% weekend drop is it stabilizing over the weekend.

May not follow its pattern but if Sonic followed a big opening pattern like Beauty and the Beast which had a 2.74 multiplier and a big opening would get to $72.6M. This looks VERY close to becoming Jim Carrey's biggest OW of his career which is currently Bruce Almighty at $67.9M in 2003. Sonic may also become his first $200M+ movie since that time and his third highest grossing movie overall behind Grinch and Bruce Almighty of his career. Having a holiday its second weekend helps.

Paramount is on a roll. Scream, Jackass, Lost City and Sonic will all do $55M+ in the first 3.5 months of the year. Next up is TG Maverick which looks like a slam dunk so they'll likely be 5/5 for the year. Dramatic turnaround for them. Also saw Quiet Place 2, Clifford, Paw Patrol last year do $40M+ so they are 8/9 with only Snake Eyes flopping.
