Not bad! Should head right for the $50 mil mark.

Lackluster presales in my region. Should be a good metric to see how much COVID-19 impacts walkups.

Great number for Onward. I think $40m is locked up with this number.

Wow that is really meh. At best it might do 45 million. One of Pixar's lowest openings.

Anything over 45m would be fine imo. Onward looked really unappealing so if it does 50m+ then that'd be strong. With the early previews 2m sounds fine.

Yep the $45-$50M range is pretty much where all the tracking sites had it and as long as it doesn't go below $40M I'd consider it a win honestly. This was easily the most unappealing film Disney/Pixar has ever had to market IMO.

Varity and THR are saying 37 to 40 million for onward and 8 for The Way Back. That is not good for Onward. No way to spin it.

They also say 5-6 for Emma which is quite nice.

Hmm $40m well mostly still happen. The Way Back should have cracked double digits. Great opening for Emma.

Onward flopped. Walkups have been meh. There must be some COVID-19 impact(Families staying away from Plexes but lack of buzz was the biggest factor. Pixar should stay away from spring dates. Just have one movie release in the summer.

At least its a disney release and so I am not feeling too bad. They are making bank otherwise.

Hm... very interesting.

Not sure if this is because of coronavirus or because it looked really unappealing. I'm betting it's more because it wasn't appealing tbh. It didn't look like a Pixar film. WoM should be good but it could gross below Good Dinosaur if OW isn't better. Eep.

Ratatouille, Wall-E and Up just had their sequels put in the fast lane.

Teenage Riley in Inside Out 2 would've been great but Soul is kind of stepping on the concept.

Onward never looked appealing. Sure maybe Corona knocked off $5m or so but this never was going to be that big.

$12.2m from a $2.65m previews is decent enough for a $40m weekend

I’d be up for a sequel that’s as good as the first half of Wall-e and the second half of Ratatouille :wub2:
